I’m Young, a Motion Designer based in Southern California.
I use motion to help teams clearly explain their products and brands. My approach treats motion as a communication tool, supporting clarity, problem-solving, and real outcomes, not just visual polish.
My background isn’t traditional. I started in finance, then worked in kitchen and bath design, experiences that trained me to listen closely, ask the right questions, and turn ambiguity into clear direction. That problem-solving mindset shapes how I approach motion today.
I’m involved from early concept through final delivery, working within existing design systems and constraints. I use a structured process with clear phases, timelines, and check-ins to keep projects aligned and efficient, ensuring motion decisions are intentional and goal-driven.
Originally from South Korea, I’ve lived in the U.S. for over 20 years. Outside of work, I enjoy strength training, snowboarding, and life with my patient husband.
