My journey to motion design has been anything but traditional, yet every step along the way has uniquely prepared me to turn ideas into captivating visual experiences.
I started my professional life with a degree in economics and mathematics, diving into the world of finance. Working closely with clients from diverse backgrounds gave me a deep understanding of how to listen, interpret needs, and translate goals into actionable plans. But as time went on, I found myself asking, ‘What if there’s more to explore?’
That question led me to a surprising detour — Kitchen and Bath Design. Here, I discovered the world of design and the power of 3D visualization to bring concepts to life. It was in this role that I realized the joy of visual storytelling, and the satisfaction of transforming abstract ideas into tangible realities. Yet again, curiosity struck: ‘What if I could blend my analytical background with my newfound love for design?’
Enter motion design, where art meets precision, and where I’ve found my true passion. Now, I’m dedicated to creating dynamic, engaging visuals that not only tell a story but also connect with audiences on a deeper level.
Originally from South Korea, I’ve called the U.S. home for over two decades. I’m happily married to a Texan, and we share our lives with a very disobedient yet adorable husky and a small jungle of seven thriving plants. When I’m not working, you’ll find me snowboarding, paddleboarding, e-biking, or simply soaking in the beauty of nature. I believe in living life to the fullest, embracing every challenge (though It’s terrifying sometimes), and infusing that energy into everything I create.
